It was published during internal strife between different branches of Carlism; it portrays a triumph of La Cabecilla weekly, featuring a face of its owner Ramon Altarriba y Villanueva, sporting a Carlist beret and holding a flag reading "God, Patria, King", while its enemies, El Siglo Futuro, featuring a face of the old and worn-out Candido Nocedal, and La Union Catolica, featuring a "paper general" face of Alejandro Pidal, get defeated. The title might mean simply "the triumph of faith [Roman-Catholic orthodoxy over its offshoots]", but it could also mean "the triumph of La Fe", a periodical siding with La Cabecilla against El Siglo Futuro and others
