Description: California Condor #628 heads for home after being released at the Hopper Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, in the Topatopa Mountains of Ventura County and the southern Los Padres National Forest, in southern California. It was released by supervisory wildlife biologist Joseph Brandt, USFWS, and Beth Pratt, of the National Wildlife Federation.
