Image: Callirrhoe - New Horizons
Description: New Horizons LORRI observations of Jupiter's outer moon Callirrhoe from over 61,700,000 km. These observations were a test of New Horizons LORRI's ability to perform optical navigation with a small, dim object as a target. The images of Callirrhoe have been bicubically scaled 2x and digitally processed from raw images taken on 10 January 2007. The raw images can be downloaded from NASA's PDS Small Bodies Node: https://pdssbn.astro.umd.edu/holdings/nh-j-lorri-3-jupiter-v3.0/dataset.shtml
