Description: La Casa Encendida ("The Enlighted House"). Cultural and educational center in Madrid (Spain). Building was projected in 1909 by Fernando Arbós y Tremanti and built from 1909 to 1910 as a Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de Madrid (savings bank and Mount of Piety of Madrid) office building. First refurbishment and alteration was made by Guillermo Escribano Villanueva in 1989. Second refurbishment, alteration and extension by Carlos Manzano Rodríguez from 2000 to 2002.
