Description: View of Castle Hill, Huddersfield. From Farnley Tyas. Taken whilst the old Public house was being demolished to build a new one(class A listed building).the newer Public house was also demolished for failing to comply to planning permission. The new public house was oversized from the dimensions specified on building permeission plans and the owners were given a week to demolish the building by the council, or else the council would demolish the building for them and the owners would then get charged for the demolition. The old public house is now part of the car park!
