Description: Castles of Munster: Knockgraffon, Tipperary. North of the River Suir is Knockgraffon Castle which stands less than 2 km to the west of a comparatively new M8 motorway. This is a C16 Butler tower having circular bartizans on the NW and SE corners and an east facing entrance doorway.
