Description: Patoleo (singular: Patoli) are rice cakes stuffed with palm jaggery steamed in turmeric leaves. These sweets are prepared every year on the 15th of August by the Goan Catholic community to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
