Most of the buildings are contributing structures in the Lexington Downtown Commercial Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Pictured in the background, from left to right, are modern skyscrapers on the Lexington skyline, including the Lexington Financial Center, Kincaid Towers, Vine Center and Hilton Lexington/Downtown.
