Description: I also found this Coastalplain goldenaster protected from the wind along a narrow trail through the scrub. These are blooming in most of our local natural areas now. This one comes complete with spare buds and a baby green lynx spider. Don't confuse this with it's friend Narrowleaf silkgrass, which has thin grass-like leaves.
