Image: Copper Cheeked Tree Frog
Description: Taking a break from insects and into the amphibious world... A copper cheeked tree frog (or White-lipped Frog as they say; Hydrophylax raniceps) that was found near a stream along a trail in Venus Drive, Singapore macro site. A local pointed to me this nonchalantly sitting frog on a tree branch a few meters away from his macro group where they were checking out other creatures like skinks and other frogs. They're called copper cheeked because of their large brown colored eardrums near their eyes.
