Description: “Art from the Sacred to the Profane” by philosopher and artist Frithjof Schuon (1908-1998) was published by World Wisdom in 2007. Schuon's widow, Catherine Schuon, an accomplished artist herself, edited the book. It is a collection of Schuon's writings about sacred art as well as numerous illustrations of sacred art. It includes some of Schuon's own paintings and photos of historical and explanatory significance.
