Description: Restoration of the holotype skeleton MOUF00001 of Toyotamaphimeia machikanense KOBATAKE et al. 1965 (missing parts reconstructed), an extinct tomistomine crocodile from the Middle Pleistocene (370,000 years ago) of the Upper Osaka Group, Osaka Prefecture, Central Japan.[1] Museum floor display, Moscow Paleontological Museum. The length of the skull alone is about 1 m. The original fossil material is housed in the Museum of Osaka University.
