Description: Found mainly in Baja California and Sonora State, where it is known a Ciruelo Cimarron. Although referred to as a plum in both languages, it is of the Anacardiaceae Family. Despite the "edulis" name, it seems used more for medicine than food. Photo from Sierra Laguna in southern Baja.
