Description: The Delta Phi Epsilon House (also known as the Alpha Chapter House; historically known as the William E. Seymour House), located at 3401 Prospect Street, N.W., in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Built in 1870 by merchant William E. Seymour, the brick, Italianate-style row house was purchased by Delta Phi Epsilon in 1940. The building is designated as a contributing property to the Georgetown Historic District, a National Historic Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1967.
