Description: David Pruhs (born 1959) is an American businessman, politician and radio talk show host. Pruhs took office as mayor of Fairbanks, Alaska on October 24, 2022. He previously served on the Fairbanks City Council. He is a real estate broker and began hosting various talk shows on KFAR in 2016. In this photo, he is taking part in a candidate forum hosted by the Tanana Valley League of Women Voters at the 2012 Tanana Valley State Fair. He ran as the Republican nominee for a seat in the Alaska House of Representatives, opposing incumbent Scott Kawasaki.
