Description: c/n DHA 2002. Built in September 1942, this was the first of 87 Dragons built in Sydney by de Havilland Australia. It saw Royal Australian Air Force service with the serial A34-13. It later had a civil career with the Northern Territory Aerial Medical Service and then with the Reverend Les Nixon, who used it on his ‘Outback Patrol’, a Christian community service. It was later purchased by Sir William Roberts for his collection at Strathallan in Scotland. It is now on display in the Civil Aviation Hangar at the National Museum of Flight (part of National Museums Scotland). East Fortune Airfield, East Lothian, Scotland. 13th September 2017
