Distribution data is lacking since this species of centipede has not been evaluated by IUCN etc. so the map was roughly derived from the following sources: Map of Life point data Archived map from North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences [1] '"It ranges southward about 1/4 of the way into Mexico, and has not been found west of the Colorado River in CA" (Dr Rowland Shelley)' [2] "The species is also known to occur at least in Arkansas, southern Missouri, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and northern Mexico. Within Arkansas, we have reliable reports of this species from Benton, Carroll, Washington, Crawford, Sebastian, Perry, Pulaski, Garland, Hot Spring, Pike, and Howard Counties. The easternmost record for the species comes from Little Rock, Pulaski County."
