Description: The interior of the Don Haskins Center on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Note the "NCAA Champions 1966" banner at top left; this honors the famed 1966 Texas Western Miners who defeated the all-white University of Kentucky for the national championship. Formerly called the Special Events Center, the Haskins Center has hosted numerous notable sporting and cultural events since it opened in 1977.
