Description: It took me a long time to find a brand I'm really happy with. The ones in the white plastic bag were always "just not it". (maybe because it says salted, not fermented??) Instead I even preferred the ready-to-go- blackbean sauce (on the left). Then I discovered these moist black beans (on the right). They were okay. Still not brilliant, but okay. Disadvantage is that you or that I want to store them in te fridge once you've opened the package. But at least the steamed oysters with black beans, soy and spring onion was nice! But lately I've tried those Yang Jiang Preserved Black Beans with Ginger. And I looooove those. I just quickly rinse them with cold water and they are ready to use. Now I'm in love with this recipe for steamed salmon with black beans And I'll have to steam some oysters soon!
