Description: Talgrund: San Carlo und Piano di Peccia. Vordergrund rechts: Piode. Hintergrund v.l.: Pizzo Castello, Poncione di Braga, Mottone und Pizzo Ghiacciaio di Sasso Nero. Die drei Ausbruchmaterialhalden mit Barackenlagern in der Bergflanke und die Baustelle im Talgrund sind äussere Zeichen für enorme Vorgänge im Berginnern. Dort entstehen Kavernen von 39'000 m³ für die Kraftwerkzentrale Peccia und das Wasserschloss sowie 6 km Stollen zum Sambuco-Stausee. Im Talgrund entsteht das Ausgleichsbecken, von dem das turbinierte Wasser vom Sambuco und das vom KW Bavona hergeleitete Wasser dem Kraftwerk Cavergno zugeführt wird.
