Examples of these replicas can be found in the British Museum, Coins and Medals, forgeries cabinet and all four examples of these replica coins are represented in an upcoming catalogue of modern replicas/fakes. It reproduces an Early-Medieval Edward the Elder Penny, Local type. It is silver and 20mm in diameter, weighing 1.51g (23.2gn). It has a die axis of 9.
