Description: The church, which is adjacent to the River Trent, was built in 1846 by Thomas Johnson of Lichfield, and consists of a nave, chancel, north porch, vestry, and small tower and steeple at the south east end of the nave. The church was restored and enlarged in 1898. The east window has triple lancets, and the interior fittings are all from the 19th century. The church was badly damaged during an earthquake in 2008. The small tower collapsed into the roof of the nave. The damage has since been repaired. There is a small organ by Cousans, which is no longer working. Most of the stained glass is by William Wales.
