Image: Edward of Middleham (geograph)
Description: Monument to Edward of Middleham, in St Helen and the Holy Cross parish church, Sheriff Hutton, North Yorkshire. He was the eldest son of King Richard III, died in 1484 and is the only Prince of Wales to be buried in a parish church. The monument is a cenotaph, as the prince was buried elsewhere. Its present position in the north-east corner of the church is not where it was intended to stand.
