Description: Grasshopper, engraving from the Cave of Enlène near Montesquieu-Avantès, Ariège. Enlène and les Trois-Frères communicate through a narrow gallery that was intensely used in Magdalenian times, deep inside both caves. Many artefacts that were attributed to the Trois-Frères cave actually come from Enlène, such as this here piece. See Enrico Pozzi, Les Magdaléniens: art, civilisations, modes de vie, environnements, p. 177.
