Description: Although somewhat common at higher elevations in the surrounding mountains, especially along rocky ridges, Erigeron compositus is found in the INL Wyoming big sagebrush steppe only along gravelly roadsides. This suggests something about the stability of this sagebrush steppe and the disturbance-proneness of higher elevation rocky ridges.
