Description: A U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcat of Fighter Squadron 2 (VF-2) "Bounty Hunters" just after launching from the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) on 29 April 1975. VF-2 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) aboard the Enterprise for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 17 September 1974 to 20 May 1975. This was the first operational deployment of the F-14. Aircraft from VF-1 and VF-2 flew combat air patrols during Operation Frequent Wind, the evacuation of South Vietnam.
