Description: Former Free Wesleyan Chapel, Mill Street/Mill Square, Wootton, Isle of Wight, England. This building (now a house) is situated a few yards from the larger and longer established Wesleyan Chapel on Wootton High Street. It is marked as a chapel on the 1907 Ordnance Survey map but not on the next available (1939) map. A History of the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel at Wootton Bridge (2010) states the following: "Pike's Blue Book and Local Directory for 1888-89 mentions ... the Free Wesleyan Chapel (situated in Mill Lane and now a private house)".
