Description: The former Frederick & Nelson store at Washington Square mall in Tigard, Oregon (in the Portland metropolitan area) and the central entrance on the mall's west side, in 1988. The F&N closed in 1991, and the building was torn down and replaced by a larger one, for Nordstrom, opening in 1994. The parking area and entrance in the lefthand part of the photo were replaced by a 2005 expansion of the mall, plus a two-story (but smaller-footprint) parking structure.
