Description: General Giroflore? wearing commandeur of the en:Légion d'honneur (the front ribbon around his neck), the en:Crimea Medal (British medal with clasps second from the right of image), the en:Order of the Medjidie (third from the right of image), the British en:Order of the Bath (large rectangular medal second from left on ribbon bar). It all suggests he was prominent in the en:Second French Empire. He has served in the Imperial Guard of either Napoleon I or III, the Aiguillette on his right shoulder was only worn by present or ex members of the Imperial Guard at this time.
