Description: Statue by Henry Poole of Lord Frederick Sleigh Roberts, of Khandahar, Pretoria and Waterford (1832-1914). Erected in Kelvingrove Park, in Glasgow, it was unveiled on 21st August 1916. Except for the pedestal inscriptions, this is a replica of a bronze piece by Harry Bates that stands in Calcutta.
