Description: The Wheat Exchange floor in the former Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce building in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, also known as the Produce or Grain Exchange, was for a time the world's largest wheat exchange. Designed by E. Townsend Mix and built in 1879, it features an Italian Renaissance decor. It ranks as one of the greatest interior spaces in 19th-century American architecture.
