Description: Hudson's Bay Company - Nipigon House This photograph shows the Nipigon House settlement on Lake Nipigon. This encampment was at one time a Hudson's Bay Trading Company Post. The HBC was a very important part of Canada's origins and is still in operation (albeit with some changes) today.
