Description: Haasts Bluff is clearly visible as you drive from Glen Helen Resort to Papunya. It is just past turn off to Haasts Bluff community and Papunya, heading to Papunya. There had been a bush fire which enabled us to see the formation of Haasts Bluff more clearly by removing all the undergrowth. The cliff is made of sandstone. It is part of the Heavitree Quartzite of Precambrian (Neoproterozoic) age.
