Description: Hale House Checked carefully with the GPS, I am standing just inside the eastern boundary of the square and the house is wholly within. The current Hale House was built, to Palladian style in the early to mid 18th century, by Thomas Archer, who worked for Queen Anne and was a well-known architect of his day.
