Description: Healey Congregational Church, Hanover Street, Batley, Yorkshire, England. John Ely Walker (b.1847), director of James Walker & Sons, was a founder member of this church along with his family. It had a 100-foot spire. The foundation stone was laid on 23 January 1856, and it was designed by architect Michael Sheard jun. of Batley. It became Healey United Reformed church, and has since been demolished.
