Description: The house at 611 Cameron Street, located between North St. Asaph and North Washington Streets in Old Town Alexandria, Birginia, was built in 1796 in the Federal style. In the fall of 1810, "Light Horse Harry" Lee (Henry Lee III) moved his family into this house, where they lived for a year, before moving to 607 Oronoco Street (1811-1816), then to 407 North Washington (1816-1820), and then back to 607 Oronoco ((1820-1825). A plaque on this house identifies it as the home of Henry Lee, without specifying the year. (Description source: "The Lee Family in Old Town Alexandria")Taken on November 3rd, 2006, by RebelAt.
