Description: Kokiʻo keʻokeʻo or Small Kauai white hibiscus Malvaceae Endemic to the Hawaiian Islands (Kauaʻi only) Endangered Oʻahu (Cultivated) This featured particular specimen closely resembles subsp. waimeae more than subsp. hannerae. However, the flowers were small and leaves were much larger. The two native Hawaiian white hibiscuses, Hibiscus arnottianus and H. waimeae, are the only known species of hibiscuses in the world known to have fragrant flowers!
