Description: This manuscript of the History of the Peloponnesian War by the historian Tucídides, is the Latin version translated by Lorenzo Valla and dedicated to Pope Nicholas V. Decoration: the miniatures are attributed to Francesco di Antonio del Chierico (1433-1484). Orla and decoration of Florentine school. In the frontispiece, orles with the emblems of the king. In the lower part, shield of Calabria. Bookbinding: parchment. Loin decorated with feathers with a a candelieri style motif, golden edges.
