Description: A pine bows under the weight of ice from an ice storm in Cary. The tree leaned because an upper branch fell and brought down a cascade of other branches beneath it, leaving the tree much heavier on the side with branches. After the ice melted, it straightened a little bit, but ultimately the tree had to be removed because it was a hazard to the house beneath it. December 5, 2002
