Description: Kwakwaka'wakw people, acting in the Edward Curtis film, "In the Land of the Head Hunters" recreating the Tuxwid (warrior) ceremony [Curtis inaccurately labeled it as the nunhlim ceremony], the four days prior to the Winter Dance (Tseka). The Tuxwid warriors demonstrate supernatural powers granted by Winalagalis/Sisiutl by summoning Dantsikw power boards from underground & returning them. This commemorates Winalagalis' subterranean canoe.
