Description: The Indianola Carnegie Library, now headquarters of the Des Moines Metro Opera, Indianola, Iowa. Constructed in 1904, designed by Frederick W. Keith in the in the Neoclassical style, and built by G.W. James. The library was located at the site until 1984, the building became the Des Moines Metro Opera, and a modern addition was added to the north façade between 2018 and 2019. The library was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.
