Description: Located at 6°37'38.96"N 121°58'24.91"E Barangay Maligue, Isabela City, Basilan is one of the remaining densely forested areas in Basilan province and probably the only one in Isabela City. Home to diversities in flora and fauna the Local Government Unit recognized this as protected area. In 2020 the first ever inventory of birds was done in ICFP at least 22 species of bird were documented. Among those documented are Rofous Paradise-Fly-Catcher, Mindanao Boobook, Blacked eyed Monarch, Blacked eyed Oriole, and the Mindanao Hornbill. The discovery these birds has put ICFP in one of the world’s birding community. In the photo a fellow photographer is taking photos of Flying Foxes resting on critically endangered endemic Basilan Yakal trees (Hopia basilanicus).
