Description: These images are from the day-long People’s University for Palestine Teach-In at Federal Plaza on Tuesday (June 17). This was part of the programming surrounding the Jewish Voice for Peace hunger strikers, who were on Day 2 at the time, and intellectually speaking it was a veritable feast, with opportunities to engage with some of Chicago’s most important movement thinkers and academics. Beginning on June 16, the six Jewish hunger strikers declared their intention not to eat until the US stops its funding of Israeli weapons, and until humanitarian aid is allowed to reach the people of Gaza. --- Barbara Ransby
