Character state scores= 1-2: Interdental plates present along the entire alveolar margin of the premaxilla, maxilla and dentary. 46-0: No maxillo-nasal tuberosity. 54-0: No antorbital fossa on the lateral surface of the maxilla. 66-1: The palatal process on the anteromedial surface of the maxilla are present and do not meet at the midline. 67-0: The palatal process of the maxilla is adjacent to the bases of the interdental plates. 69-0: No edentulous anterior portion of the ventral margin of the bone. 70-0: The alveolar margin on the anterior third of the maxilla (anterior to the level of the anterior border of the antorbital fenestra if present) is approximately aligned to the posterior half of the alveolar margin. 188-1: No teeth on the palatine and ventral surface of the anterior ramus of the pterygoid. 200-0: The lateral ramus of the pterygoid is posterolaterally oriented, forming an obtuse angle with the anterior ramus. 202-2: No teeth on the lateral ramus of the pterygoid.
