Description: Just across the Fleet St. pumping station we spotted this group lf kayakers doing what appeared to be an obstacle course on the canal. Kayaking school is it, I thought to myself. No, these kayaks and the kayaking are actually part of the Ottawa River Runners (ORR). This is a whitewater kayak and canoe club located on the Ottawa River in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The club is located at the Fleet Street Pumping Station tailrace, in the Lebreton Flats area of Ottawa. The whitewater course that the ORR established and maintains is called The Pumphouse. (Ottawa, Canada, June 2015)
