Description: Kitchener memorial, Marwick Head. In 1916 Lord Kitchener was heading for Russia on HMS Hampshire, when it struck a mine off Marwick Head and sank with great loss of life. Strangely, all four walls of this memorial tower are solid - there is no entrance!
