Description: A memorial stele for Yi Alpyeong (李謁平), who founded a Template:Ri (Korean surname) clan. The main inscription reads Gyeongju Yissi Sijo hui Alpyeong Gyeongmobi (“the reverential stele for the Yi clan of Gyeongju's primogenitor, whose esteemed given name was Alpyeong”). It is at 507-7 in Dongcheon-dong, Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province and was built on 11 November, 1979 with a donation by the founder of Samsung Group, Lee Byung-chul. (Yi and Lee are variant romanizations.) There is an old village nearby called Pyoamjae. Hanja (Chinese characters) are still used for these historical records.
