Description: 5 June 2014 -Washington, DC - The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has participated in an ongoing partnership with construction companies to hold National Safety Stand-Down Fall Protection events. Todays event was held on the site of the new National Museum of African American History & Culture Museum. OSHA Assistant Secretary Dr. David Michaels spoke to the work crew and then watched a "fall" safety harness demonstration by George Stallings (PICTURED LEFT SPEAKING) from Sales Solutions. Brian Flegel, Clark Sr. Vice President and Joe Swank, Clark Construction Executive delivered closing remarks and thanked the construction crew for participating.
