Description: LMS fitted milk tanker No.44000 at Midsomer Norton South station on the Somerset & Dorset Railway Diesel Gala, 7 March 2020. Originally built as a 4-wheeled milk tanker for United Creameries (No.638) in 1927 for the United Dairies Calveley - Mitre Bridge service, it was rebuilt in 1937-38 with 6 wheels, Diagram 1993, lot 1077. TOPS Code MTY, then MTZ.
