Description: 1940 LaSalle hearse that transported the casket of Rosa Parks — in Detroit, Michigan (November 2, 2005).
The LaSalle hearse carried it from the viewing at the African American Museum on Warren near Wayne State U, to the funeral at Greater Grace Temple on 7 Mile Road near Telegraph. A horse-drawn hearse carried it to her final resting place at Woodlawn Cemetery on Woodward Avenue in Detroit.
